There is a power line that runs from the camera to the battery pack. The camera itself records the images. This means that recording time is limited. There are many different varieties of body worn hidden cameras to chose from. The power cord is usually hidden by hair, other clothing or taped down. This type of camera can catch images anywhere the person running it wants. The camera moves as they move. This type of camera is good for catching images when moving around.
While either camera will capture images and record them, they both have their pros and cons. It depends upon your needs as to which is best for you. If you have only a small, specific area to record and do not want to be present when the recording is taking place them a standard hidden camera is for you. If you need to be able to carry the camera and record images around you then the body worn hidden camera is for you. No matter which hidden camera you buy you need to make sure you use in in accordance with state and federal laws.
